Why Eighteen Thousand Days?

Why Eighteen Thousand Days?

These marriage rings that we wear on our hands will outlast most of the material objects we own. It will accompany us for decades, bearing witness to all our joys and trials of a life well lived with this one partner that we have chosen.

It may not feel like it now, but your marriage rings will become one of your most precious personal belongings in time to come.

We named our company Eighteen Thousand Days because it roughly translates to 50 years or so - the length of a good marriage. But it also serves as a reminder that no matter how good a marriage may be, it will all still come to a natural end.

So what will we make of what remains of our time here together?
